99’s CANADIAN AWARD IN AVIATION 
In 1974, the Canadian Ninety-Nines established the award to promote aviation throughout Canada. Since 1994, the Board of Trustees has also provided the Air Cadet League of Canada with funds for the Pilot Training Achievement Awards program, to assist female cadets to further their flight training. These awards are given by the 99s Canadian Award in Aviation and the families of former trustees Isabel Peppler and Beryl Scudellari.

426 THUNDERBIRDS SQUADRON ASSOCIATION AWARD
The Association is made up of retired and serving members of 426 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Forces. The unit was formed in the dark days of World War II and has a proud history of service. 426 Squadron currently operates as a training establishment offering a vast array of courses in all levels of military aviation at 8 Wing, Trenton.

AIR CADET LEAGUE AWARD
Our mission is to promote and encourage the nation’s youth to develop and maintain an interest in aviation, leadership and citizenship, in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces and other organizations.

AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALISTS ASSOCIATION AWARD
This Union Local represents approximately 640 Flight Service Specialists who work at 53 Airport Advisory Stations, 5 Flight Information Centres, one International Flight Service Station and various regional and national head offices throughout Canada.

CAE LIMITED AWARD
CAE is a high-technology company, bringing the digital and physical worlds closer together to create a safer world. CAE supports the Air Cadet League of Canada for its participation to promote and encourage young people to develop interest toward the aviation and aerospace industry.

CANADIAN FIGHTER PILOTS AWARD
The majority of the membership of the Canadian Fighter Pilots Association were fighter pilots with wartime service, but post-war pilots were also welcome. The association consisted of three wings: Western, Central and Eastern. It joined the National Council of Veteran Associations in Canada (NCVA) in 1990

CAPT JIM GOODHAND AWARD
This scholarship is in memory of Captain Jim Goodhand, who had his pilots license before his driver’s license, indicating his love of flying. He started as a Cadet and enjoyed a long career as a commercial pilot and aviation instructor.

CASARA FOUNDATION AWARD
The CASARA Foundation was established in 2004 to support continuation training of members of the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association and of other worthy individuals and organizations. Historically the CASARA Foundation has supported the Air Cadet League of Canada as the League is renowned for its ability to foster leaders and launch aviation careers.

DODO BIRD CLUB AWARD
Founded in 1975, the Dodo Bird Club of Ex-RCAF Flight Sergeants honoured and perpetuated the distinctive role of Flight Sergeants in promoting efficiency and camaraderie throughout the RCAF during its distinguished history. It joined the National Council of Veteran Associations in Canada (NCVA) in 1997.

ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION AWARD
As part of the RCAF Association’s efforts to introduce young Canadians to an aerospace career – civil or military – the RCAF Association has invested considerably in a scholarships/bursary programme that after many decades today provides up to five $2,500 awards annually, in cooperation with other like-minded organizations like the Sabre Pilots’ Association of the Air Division Squadrons (SPAADS). This cooperation and collaboration is also part of the RCAF Association’s mission to promote Canada’s rich air force history, of which the SPAADS chapter remains one of the most inspiring, of all the RCAF experiences and capabilities since the Second World War.
