CJCR Formation March

Master Warrant Officer Mike Manny, a senior musician in the Canadian Armed Forces, shares his inspiration behind composing the CJCR March. Despite being a jazz musician, he embraced the challenge and managed to incorporate diverse musical elements, including ‘O Canada’ and ‘Maple Leaf Forever,’ into the march. This composition, now officialized, serves as a tribute to those who serve and guides the youth of Canada through the Cadet Program, our adult staff in every corner of Canada.
