Grant of Rights to Copyrighted Materials
I permanently give the Air Cadet League of Canada (“ACL”) the right to use anything I create or that shows me — including writings, articles, artwork, photos, videos, and other creative content (the “Materials”). The ACL, and anyone it later transfers or licenses these rights to, may copy, use, show, broadcast, share, publish, and make new works based on the Materials, anywhere in the world, forever, without paying me.
The ACL may use the Materials for any purpose connected to its activities, or to promote, advertise, explain, or raise funds for the ACL and its work. This includes use on ACL websites, in reports, publications, marketing materials, advertisements, fundraising materials, and any other ACL-related materials, in any kind of media that exists now or is created in the future.
The ACL may decide, in its sole discretion, which Materials to use and may make reasonable changes to them for clarity, length, or formatting, as long as the original meaning and intent are kept.
I also give up (waive) all of my moral rights in the Materials in favour of the ACL, as allowed under the Canadian Copyright Act. This means I agree that the ACL may use the Materials without having to credit me as the author and that I will not object to allowed changes to the Materials.
