Triple AAA Career Expo

Over 500 Cadets,officers, parents and members of the public attended the Triple AAA Career Expo held in Ottawa on October 14.  The focus was on careers, education and employment in Aviation and Aerospace and attendees were treated to 28 Exhibitor booths, special presentations throughout the day, and the chance to speak directly with industry leaders and educators about future career opportunities.  The Air Cadet League thanks the many partners, sponsors and exhibitors who made this event successful.  Stay tuned to the Air Cadet League for details on future Expo’s being planned.

IN MEMORIAM: EARL LANTZ

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl Lantz CD, a past chairman and long serving member of the Nova Scotia provincial committee. Earl had been involved with the Air Cadets since becoming one at the age of thirteen. His hard work and dedication will be missed by the League and the committees on which he served. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Career Expo Cancelled

Please note that the Triple AAA Career Expo which was supposed to take place on Sunday is cancelled. The safety of our Air Cadets is our top priority, and in light of recent weather reports, we have decided to reschedule the event at a later date.

2018 POST-SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Air Cadet League is proud to offer six post-secondary education scholarship awards to Royal Canadian Air Cadets. They are the Young Citizen Foundation Scholarship, the Birchall Scholarship, the Dale Scholarship, the Jazz Aviation Pathway Award for Professionalism, the Jazz Aviation Pathway Award for Professionalism and Diversity, and new this year, the Alex Venebles Scholarship in Engineering.

To submit an application, you have until April 1st to complete the ACC64 form. An application example is also available to help you fill the form.
