ATAC Continuation Flying Award

The Air Cadet League of Canada’s 1st Vice-President Grant Fabes accepted the Air Transport Association of Canada’s (ATAC) Spring Continuation Flying Award, on behalf of F/Sgt Ray Lynch, 631 Sentinel Squadron, Scarborough, ON. F/Sgt Lynch will be doing his flying at Toronto Airways Flying School. 702 Lynx Squadron 50th Anniversary

702 Lynx Squadron in Saskatoon will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year and are planning a reunion. Dates of the reunion are April 23, 24 and 25, 2010. For more information and a registration package, please email 702.50th@gmail.com

A New MOU With Industry

January 26, 2010 saw the signing of a formal MOU between the Canadian Airports Council (CAC) and the League. This MOU provides for two $500 cadet scholarships for the Airport Operations summer training course as well as facilitating access/tours of member airports and the provision of guest speakers.
